LUSH 'Sex Bomb' and 'Fluffy Egg' Review

Hi chums!

Ever since I first stepped into a LUSH store I have been absolutely addicted to the place! Not only the smell of the products, but the vibrant colours, shapes and sizes also provide an overwhelming experience.

One of the things I love about LUSH is that you can try some of the products there! Obviously you can't start getting undressed and hopping into a bath tub with one of their many bath bombs! But you can see the bath bombs bubble and fizz in a large metal bowl as well as take in their AMAZING smell!

My first bath bomb I'm going to review is called the 'Sex Bomb'  - a name I personally would not be associated with - it's pink and purple, has a gorgeous rose in the middle and is very soothing.

If you want to buy one online you can do so HERE and can also see the ingredients and a bit more about what it is good for!

You can buy them for just over £3 instore - a bargain in my opinion for the good you get out of it! The Sex Bomb smells mainly of Jasmine which I found very relaxing, I'm not usually a 'flower' person but this one is quite subtle while at the same time being quite calming! The Clary Sage Oil also made my skin feel very supple and soft, but didn't go to the extreme of turning me into some slippery fish!

So here it is in all its pride and glory! You can see the lovely rose in the middle too!
The bath bomb doing its thing!
And here's the rose!
The rose is a jelly like substance which you can rub on your skin for extra fragrance!

My next bath bomb is called 'Fluffy Egg' which I think is gorgeousssss! It's a seasonal bath bomb which comes out at Easter time (I bought it in April) it's currently out of stock but if you want to find out more information you can do HERE it's an American site - nothing against that it's just that I don't have any dollars to spend only pounds for me! The vibrant pink colour really cheers me up and the smell is reallyyy nice! It's quite a candy/sweet/sugary smell which I personally LOVE!

Here it is!
Just look at the gorgeous colour coming from it!
I hope you found this review helpful and has maybe encouraged you to try some LUSH products!

Bye for now chums!

Froglets - from spawn to frogs!

Hi chums!

Thought I'd show you some pictures of my little froggies I've recently released into our garden and give you some information on how I kept them etc. So, in my garden I have two ponds: one is quite a big one with fish in, the other one is more of a 'nature' or 'wildlife' pond with no fish in as we leave it for the friendly newts, toads and frogs which happily live there!

We had frogspawn in the pond towards the end of February and decided to scoop some out with a net and put it in a small tank - living in Britain means that the weather is quite unpredictable so we didn't want our little friends getting frozen in a frost or blown across to another garden!

My frogspawn!

Once I'd put some water and green water plants in my tank I just put it on some newspaper on my dresser in my room and watched them with intense interest over the next few months!

Before long the tiny little dots in the centre of the little sacs turn into what I call 'commas' - my very technical term!

My baby 'commas'
After the 'comma' stage, they begin to chomp on their sacs...maybe not the best phrase! And escape to FREEEEEDOM! Aka the rest of the tank. After they adjust to their new found freedom and start to eat some of the plants, they begin to look a bit more froglike and legs start sprouting from beneath them!

With legs!

Before you know it, they've grown snouts for their 'frog face' and then they begin clinging to the sides of the tank - like one of those jelly toys you sling at windows and it sticks to! Sorry for the overload of froggies, but I think they're so cute!

University Matters

For my first 'proper' post, I wanted to write something that I feel strongly about: not going to university. I'm not going to go on a rant on why no one should ever go to university, I just think that many people think it's almost their only option and the 'done' thing to do, so I've decided to write my view on the matter.

An Introduction

So, after months and months of contemplating whether to start my own blog...here I am! I thought my first post should be an introduction to myself, why I decided to create this blog and what I intend to do with it.
